ð How It Works
A planetary year is simply the time a planet takes to complete one orbit around the Sun, and every planet does it at a different speed. Mercury whips around in 88 Earth days, while Neptune plods through a single orbit in almost 165 Earth years. Your body ages at the same rate no matter where you stand — but the number of "birthdays" you have celebrated depends entirely on which planet's clock you are reading.
The calculator converts your exact birth moment into the orbital period of each world using the official sidereal orbit values from NASA planetary fact sheets. For every planet it returns your local age (completed planetary years plus a decimal fraction), your total days lived in that planet's own day length, and the real Earth calendar date of your next planetary birthday — the day you tick over to your next local year. Leap years and real month lengths are handled, so the dates are calendar-accurate rather than back-of-the-envelope estimates.
